The Parkersburg Police Department will be offering a Police Civil Service Exam for Entry Level Patrolman on Thursday, March 7, 2024.
We will again be offering tutoring classes to anyone interested in preparing for the written test. Tutoring will be offered 5:30 to 7:00 pm every Tuesday beginning 2/13/24 on the second floor of the Parkersburg Municipal Building.

completed application must be turned in by March 6th at 4pm to be signed up for the written test.

The Parkersburg Police Department has been a CALEA Accredited Law Enforcement Agency since 2009. A portion of the CALEA Accreditation process is Public Comments. Specifically, "
comments regarding an agency's compliance with CALEA standards, engagement in the service community, delivery of public safety services, and overall candidacy for accredited status." If you would like to provide your comments to CALEA regarding the Parkersburg Police
