Last night at approximately 9:35 p.m., officers responded to a Fairview Heights residence in reference to a stolen vehicle.
The victim advised officers that her 2010 GMC Acadia was stolen from her attached garage within the last half-hour. The officers inquired if the vehicle was equipped with On-Star to which the victim confirmed. On-Star was contacted and a GPS track of the vehicle was conducted.
A short time later, 911 telecommunicators advised officers that On-Star had located the vehicle, and it was mobile in the area. The GPS track of the SUV continued, with officers locating it near 5th and Green Streets in downtown Parkersburg. A felony traffic (high-risk) traffic stop was conducted with officers removing and arresting the lone occupant of the vehicle.
Henry Theodore Allen II was taken into custody without incident and transported to headquarters for processing. Allen spent the night in the Wood County Holding Center and was arraigned this morning in Wood County Magistrate Court on felony charges of burglary and grand larceny. Allen failed to post a $75,000.00 bond and remains in the regional jail at this time.
