On the night of October 31, 2018, and November 1, 2018, unknown person’s entered the business of Confiskated Skate Shop located at 3601 Emerson Ave. Parkersburg, WV. The following morning it was discovered that the property had been entered and that a large number of items had been removed. Among the missing items was the DVR system for the security cameras, multiple skateboards, skateboard parts, skateboard accessories, wax, shirts, pants, other clothing items, multiple different brands of shoes, helmets, pads, and multiple other items related to skateboarding. The estimated value of the items missing is approximately $25,000. The suspects did remove the items from their original packaging and boxes prior to stealing the items.
The victim received information from sources and provided the same to the Detective who was investigating the case. This information was vital to the successful arrest of two subjects involved in the theft.
Upon completion of the investigation, two subjects were arrested and charged with Grand larceny and Breaking and Entering. Once processed, both were taken to Wood County Magistrate Court to be arraigned.
Douglas Corbin 21, charged with breaking and entering and grand larceny. Bond set at $10,000 by Magistrate Waters which he posted.
Logan Coon 22, charged with breaking and entering and grand larceny. Bond set at $10,000 by Magistrate Marshall which was posted
A search warrant was executed at 1601 19th Street Parkersburg where the property was recovered.
